Tuesday is Election Day. Remember to get out and vote.
Assistant Chief of Police Darren Bidwell has received American Red Cross Certification.
Thanks to everyone for making the Halloween Parade a success.
All ages were present and parade leader Vampire Magistrate Fred Pierantoni led the parade.
Thanks to Chief of Police Steve Golya, and Hughestown Police Department members, Lions Club and those who donated to this successful event.
A list of mayor and council member duties is available in the borough building.
The dates and times for council meetings are also there. If interested, stop at the borough building for a copy.
The Centennial building, rear of the borough building, is available for residents and friends. Councilman Wayne Quick is in charge of this.
Some face-lifting is being done to the building for everyone’s convenience.
Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church will hold a poppy seed and nut role sale.
Contact Carolyn at 654-1849 or Ruth 654-1594. Deadline will be November 8 and pick up on November 23 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the church hall.
Donation is $7.50.

The Hughestown Lions Club will meet Monday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hughestown Hose Company hall.
President Steve Golya will preside.
