Pictures with Santa set for Saturdays in Old Forge

On each Saturday in December prior to Christmas, children can have their pictures taken with Santa at the Old Forge Borough Building between the hours of 2-7 p.m.

Santa will also be available for pictures on Sunday, Dec. 20. Donation $10.

OFLL to meet

The Old Forge Lions Little League will hold a meeting today at 7 p.m. at Old Forge High School.

John Belko will preside.

Meet the Devils Set

The Old Forge Boys’ Roundball Club will host its annual Meet the Devils tonight at 6 p.m. in the Elio Ghigiarelli Gymnasium.

The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

OFSB meeting

The Old Forge School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Dec. 16 in the school’s LGI Room.

The meeting begins immediately after the board’s work session which begins at 7 p.m.

Christmas Cookies

The Society of St. Michael’s Church will hold a cookie sale on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Christmas cookies and nut and poppy seed rolls will be sold. Cookies are $8 per pound and rolls are $8 each. To pre-order call 562-3965, 586-2632, 457-9280 or 457-2875.

OF Elementary Concerts

The Old Forge Elementary will hold its annual Christmas Concert on December 14-15, and December 17.

The first concert on Dec. 14 will feature students from grades 1-3 and begin at 7:30 p.m.

The second concert on Dec. 15 features students in grades 4-6 and will also begin at 7:30 p.m.

Kindergarten students will perform Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.

All concerts will be held in the high school auditorium and are open to the public.

Christmas Break

Christmas break for Old Forge School District students is scheduled for December 24, 2009 through January 3, 2010.
