Funds raised through this project help pay for the departments equipment and fire apparatus.

According to Department Chief Dave Gutowski the damage was significant. Numerous props and equipment were missing or damaged. Gutowski estimates the cost to repair all the damage was $700.

A dedicated group of volunteers worked to fix everything this past week so the “Trails of Terror” would be back in operation for this weekend.

Gutowski says they are offering a reward of at least $200 for information leading to the arrest of the vandals.

The “Trails of Terror” will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, through Halloween October31, from dusk until 11 p.m. The cost is still only $5 per person. The trail is located on Wyoming Ave (RT. 11) in Exeter Borough across from Carter’s Ice Cream.
