Angelo Borzell, of Pittston, died February 28, 2010, at The Laurels in Kingston. His wife, Mary Bruzzise Borzell, passed away on March 1, 1998.
Born on December 10, 1926, in Pittston, he was a son of the late Angeline Romano Borzell and Frank Borzell. He was employed as a tractor-trailer driver for Branch Trucking in Reading. He served as a Merchant Marine and in the Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Rocco’s R.C. Church.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, James, Samuel, Daniel, John, Sebastian and Joseph; and sister, Mary Carey.
Surviving are his sisters-in-laws, Stella Borzell, of Pittston, and Jean and Edward Benish, of Exeter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were March 3 from the Graziano Funeral Home, Pittston Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s RC Church, Pittston. Interment Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
