Dolores A. Mattei, 80, of Somerset, NJ, died November 8, 2009, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
Born in Dupont, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Clarke Patte. She was a graduate of Dupont High School. She was employed by Acme Markers in Middlesex, NJ, for many years, before retiring in 1991 as a department manager. She also worked at the gift shop at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, South Bound Brook, NJ. She lived in Somerville, prior to moving to Somerset in 1966. She was an avid bowler for the Strike and Spare League, Green Brook, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Mattei, who passed away in 2006; and a sister, Patricia Manisera, who passed away in 1996.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Mattei and his wife, Michelle and Robert Mattei and his wife, Christine, all of North Brunswick, NJ; daughter, Mary Bleich and her husband, Geoffrey, of Somerset, NJ; grandchildren, Robert, Kristyn, Richard and Ashley; brother, Patrick Patte, of Wilkes-Barre; sister-in-law, Betty Romanoski, of Duryea; as well as nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Nov. 12 from the Piontek Funeral Home, Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea. Interment Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
