Edward R. Sobuta

Edward Raymond Sobuta, 81, Old Forge, died November 4, 2009, at home.

Born in 1928, he was a son of the late Edward and Lottie Grala Sobuta.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Sobuta; and sister-in-law, Alice Vitanovitz.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Vitanovitz Sobuta; a daughter, Bernadette Koch, Old Forge; grandchildren, Justin and Nicole Koch; and his brother, Bernard Sobuta, Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Vine Street, Old Forge, by the Rev. Joseph M. Brozena, former Pastor. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Private viewing will precede the services.
