Emma J. (Knecht) Antal, 72, a resident Manor Care, Kingston and formerly of Suscon died October 29, 2009 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene Antal, Pittston.

She was born Sept. 4, 1937 in Suscon, the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Kossian) Knecht. She worked in the area garment industry for many years. She enjoyed listening to music, including Polkas, Oldies , U2 and Chicago, they were her favorites.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter “Buddy” Knecht.

She is survived by daughters, Deb Perry and her husband Al, Pittston; Brenda Antal and her companion Bob Lamoreaux, Wilkes-Barre; and Valorie Antal, Wyoming; sons, Glenn Antal and wife Kim, Pittston; and Wayne Antal and wife Heather, Berkshire, NY; grandchildren, Allan Perry, Albert Antal, Jacob Antal, Joshua Antal, and Jonah Antal; sisters, Betty Romanczuk, Dupont; and Edna Knecht, Exeter Twp.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hughestown. Interment parish cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Graziano Funeral Home, Pittston Twp. Viewing is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church.
