Gloria A. Levandowski

Gloria A. (Serafin) Levandowski, 72, of Moosic, died September 8, 2008 at her home.

Born in Nanticoke, November 2, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John and Nellie (Rupinski) Serafin. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Church, Avoca. She attended Moosic schools and was retired from JCPenney Department Store.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John P. Levandowski; a son, John A.; and grandson John A. Jr., both residing at home; sisters Marion Samselski, Nanticoke; Helen Sutter, Phoenixville; Jeannette Gronski, Moosic; Annette Dawes, Jackson, NJ; and Jacqueline Smith, Pittston.

She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Ann Levandowski.

Funeral services were Sept. 11 from Kiesinger Funeral Services, Duryea, with Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter and Paul Church, Avoca. Interment, parish cemetery.
