Josephine J. Taroli

Josephine J. Taroli, 91, of Old Forge, died November 5, 2009, in the Taylor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Her husband, Edward Taroli, died in 2000.

Born in Old Forge, a daughter of the late Peter and Maria Mancaruso Astorino, she was a graduate of Old Forge High School. In her younger years, she was a self-employed beautician.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Astorino; and sisters, Antoinette Salerno, Rose Guidici, and Carmella DeLucca.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, including her primary caregiver, Ronald DeLucca and wife, Sylvia, Old Forge.

The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. from the Victor M. Ferri Funeral Home, Old Forge, with Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Old Forge. Friends may call Monday, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. To leave an online condolence, visit www.ferrifuneralhome.com .
