Louise Manganiello

Louise Manganiello, 94, of West Pittston, died October 26, 2009.

She was born May 3, 1915, in West Pittston, a daughter of the late John and Mary Ambrosino Lepore. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, West Pittston. Louise was a graduate of the class of 1933, West Pittston. She was formerly employed at Exeter Blouse Company until retirement. She and her husband were owners of Manganiello’s Green House, West Pittston. She was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Red Hat "Belles."

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred, in 1993; sisters Anna Ceccaci, Rosemary Siani, Clara Kempinger, Isabelle DiStasio; and brother Gene Lepore.

Surviving are a son, Alfred, and daughter-in-law Diane, of Bethlehem; daughters Barbara Bonfanti and son-in-law Gene, of Lititz; and Mary Lou Pretti, of West Pittston; grandchildren Vincent and Christian Manganiello; Gina Martens, of Bethlehem; David Bonfanti, of Glen Mills; and Michael Bonfanti, of Lititz; great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Brandon and Spencer Manganiello; Angelina, Francesca and Isabella Martens; and Dylan Bonfanti; sisters Marie Dooner, of Avoca, and Helen Pritchard, of West Pittston; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held Oct. 30, from the Recupero Funeral Home, West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment West Pittston Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church.
