Margaret Hudzinski

Margaret Hudzinski, 73, of Dupont, died November 3, 2009, in Wesley Village, Pittston.

She was born in Ransom, on May 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Steve and Mary Hreben Hricenak. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Topps Chewing Gum, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Hudzinski; sisters Ann Hricenak, Helen Legezdh and Mary Hunish; brothers John, Steve, Andrew, William, Michael and George Hricenak.

She is survived by her son, Frank Hudzinski and wife, Debbie, Moosic; daughter, Sophie Ann Kuzynski and husband, Ron, Havelock, NC; grandchildren Ron, Chris, Jennifer, Andrew, Sharon, Nicholas and Thomas, all of Havelock, NC; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Kristina; sister, Sophie O’Neal, Rochester, NY; brothers, Joe Hricenak, Clarks Summit, Stephen Hricenak, Old Forge; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral was Nov. 5 at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, West Pittston. The Rev. Joseph Veresby officiated. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
