Marguerite A. Ciali

Marguerite A. Ciali, 90, of Pittston, died October 16, 2009, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Carolina Siani Florio. She attended Plains Memorial High School, and was employed as a seamstress by Dori Sportswear of Pittston, until her retirement. She was a member of St. Rocco’s Church, Pittston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orazio "George" Ciali, who passed away in 1998; brothers, Anthony, Joseph, and James Florio; sisters, Minnie, Mary and Carolina Florio.

She is survived by her son, Robert Ciali, Pittston; daughter, Nancy Preby and her husband, Ray, Pittston; granddaughter, Laura Preby, Pittston; brothers, John Florio, Plains Township, and Robert Florio, Broomall; sister, Rose Florio, Plains Township; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral was Oct. 20 from the Corcoran Funeral, Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Pittston. Interment Pittston Township. Online condolences may be made at www.corcoranfuneralhome.com.
