Nancy A. Kulick, of Laflin, died December 9, 2009.
Born in Scranton on November 27, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Capone Chiampi. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. She was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, class of 1963 and Marywood College in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She continued her education with graduate courses at Wilkes College. She was employed as a teacher of biology in the Wyoming Area School District, and after teaching, she joined her husband in establishing and operating the Charles Kulick Insurance Agency.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Charles; sisters, Judy Barone and her husband, Charles, of West Pittston; Elizabeth Lawrence and husband, Gary, of Concord, CA; brother-in-law, Joseph Kulick, and wife Mary Pat of Hughestown, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 802 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
