Noreen Jackson, 73, of died December 10, 2009 in Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.

Born in Jenkins Township on May 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene Gordon Kelly.

She was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School. She was a life member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.

She was employed by Burger King in Pittston for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 1983; and sisters, Delores Rowan and Eleanor Connors.

Surviving are her children, Tom (Tucker) Jackson and his wife, Carla, West Pittston; Sharon Graboski and her husband, David, Pittston; Nora Shandra and her husband, Sal, Pittston; Laura Godlewski and her husband, Paul, Pittston; grandchildren, Jennifer and Richard Warabak; Sal, Joe and Mike Shandra; great-granddaughter, Olivia Stanco; brothers, William Kelly, Pittston and John Gordon Kelly, Scranton; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Blessing Service will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 802 Susquehanna Avenue, West Pittston. Interment St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
