Sophie Klink

Sophie Klink, of Duryea, died November 11, 2009, at Highland Manor, Exeter.

Born in Duryea, she was a daughter of the late Ignatius and Marcyanna Olender Nasiatka. She attended Duryea schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the area garment industry. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Duryea, and its Confraternity of Christian Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam; brothers Frank, John and Henry; and sisters Clara Gallagher, Helen Sigman, Stella Vrabel and Martha Hastie.

She is survived by sons Bernard Klink and his wife, Diane, Duryea; Ronald Klink and his wife, Barbara, Scranton; Richard Klink and his wife, Dolores, Duryea; and John Klink and his wife, Alice, Bethlehem; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral was Nov. 14 from the Piontek Funeral Home, Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy rosary Church, Duryea. Interment Parish Cemetery, Duryea.
