Stella F. Mieczkowski

Stella F. Mieczkowski, age 99, of Old Forge, died November 2, 2009, at home. She was preceded in death in 1975 by her husband, Stanley Mieczkowski.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lois Mieczkowski, her caregiver and with whom she resided, and Mary Ann Flanagan and her husband, John, of Glen Mills; three grandchildren, Paul and John Flanagan, and Vanessa Chiavacci; her great-granddaughter, Gianna Maria; several nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services were Nov. 5 from the Kearney Funeral Home, Old Forge, with a Mass of Christian Burial in SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton.
