Stephanie (Yarashus) Schiefer , 45, of Harding, died October 24, 2009, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born in Exeter, August 19, 1964, a daughter of the late Peter and Virginia (Simonson) Yarashus.

She is survived by her son, James Schiefer of Pittston; stepson John Linker and stepdaughter Nichole Linker, both of Pittston; her maternal grandfather, Steven Simonson, and granddaughter Jada Cox.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Kiesinger Funeral Services, 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Friends may call Sunday, from 6 p.m. until time of service.
