Thanks, Steve

We shudder to think where the Sunday Dispatch would be without the help and support of photographer Steve Lukasik.

Steve’s career paralleled that of this newspaper. His brother Bill estimated he and Steve photographed nearly 3000 brides during the 60-plus years they were in business. Nearly every one of those bridal photographs were published in the Sunday Dispatch.

In addition, Steve and Bill provided the Dispatch with thousands of news and sports photos.

We valued our friendship with Steve, who died on Friday, and continue to value our friendship with Bill.

We extend our condolences to the Lukasik family.
