Book fair at Barnes & Noble to benefit St. Mary’s Assumption

Our next school Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 10:30 a.m. Eighth grade will be preparing the celebration and Fr. Maloney will be the celebrant. Everyone is invited to join us.

Middle States Evaluation

Next week we will begin our Middle States Evaluation. The Middle States team of four members will arrive on Tuesday, November 17th and will be visiting St. Mary’s until Friday, November 20th. On Tuesday, Nov. 17th there will be a reception in the school gym. The reception begins at 7:00 p.m. and is for the adults only. Every family at St. Mary’s from PK through grade 8 received an invitation to the reception. Please don’t forget to bring your food donations that evening. If you have any questions please call the office. As always thank you for your cooperation.

Bookfair

On Friday, November 20th there will be a Book Fair at Barnes & Noble Book Store at the Arena Hub Plaza supporting St. Mary’s Assumption School. In today’s envelope you will find a coupon for the Book Fair. Please present this coupon and a percentage of the net sales will be donated to St. Mary’s. This is a great opportunity to start you Christmas shopping.

Poinsettia & Wreath Sale

St. Mary’s HSO is once again sponsoring a Fresh Christmas Wreath and Pointsettia sale. All proceeds form this sale will benefit the HSO and St. Mary’s School. What an easy way to purchase a beautiful gift for someone while supporting our school! Cost for each is $10.00. Orders for Pointsettia’s must be placed no later than December 3rd while the Wreaths will be available for sale until December 18th.

Placement Test

The 8th grade students of St. Mary’s Assumption School will be taking the Holy Redeemer High School placement test in the near future. The test will be given during regular school hours. The placement test will be given to the general public on Saturday, December 12 at 9:00 a.m. Snow date will be December 19th.

Practice Cancelled

We will not be able to have practices on Monday or Tuesday of this week. The gym will be set up for the Middle States reception on Tuesday evening.

Box Tops and Soup Labels

Please continue to save these labels. Ask your friends and neighbors to help out, also. Every little bit helps. The school receives $0.10 for every Box Top. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated by the children.
