JFK Elementary to hold parent-teacher conferences this Tuesday

PTO Meeting

Thanks to everyone who attended November’s PTO meeting. We are always looking for new faces to discuss topics. The staff at JFK provided delicious snacks for this month’s PTO meeting. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the JFK teachers for participating in our meetings. When the teachers and parents work together the children benefit and the school year runs smoother.

Spirit Week

The children had a great time dressing up for Spirit Week this year. Spirit Week teaches the children the importance of school spirit and the fun that comes along with it. Thanks to everyone who encouraged their children to participate. Spirit Week also encourages imagination which is always important. Warrior Pride was in abundance this week.

Pep Rally

The JFK students were thrilled to see the Warrior football players and cheerleaders at their pep rally on Thursday. Nothing shows school spirit like a pep rally. Our children wee decked out in green and gold and had fun showing their support for the Warriors football team. Way to go Warriors.

School Closed

School will be closed on Tuesday, November 10th for parent/teacher conferences. Parents must come to the school to pick up their child’s report cards. No report cards will be sent home. Conference hours will be from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will be a short dinner break for teachers between 4:30 and 5:00. Please mark your calendars.
