WA cheerleaders are ‘Camp Champs’ for third straight year

The Wyoming Area Cheerleaders attended the UCA Pine Forest-Indian Head cheerleading camp. The Warrior cheerleaders placed first in the Home Pom dance for the third year in a row. They also placed first for their cheer and second for their Extreme Routine dance.

Besides all the team honors, the WA cheerleading squad had 10 members selected as all-star cheerleaders at camp. Those selected were seniors: Carissa Belles, Briana Remas and Meghan Shinert. Sophomores selected were: Lindsey Timek and Dori Williams. Freshmen selected were: Alex Dougherty, Casey Kane, Rachel Leandri, Brittany Lemardy and Anna Malsky. Carissa Belles was selected to try-out for UCA staff.

The Wyoming Area cheerleaders are once again invited to perform in the pre-game performance at the Capital One Bowl game on New Year’s day in Orlando, Florida. The Warrior cheer coaches are Miss Josette Cefalo and Mr. Leo Lulewicz.

Shown are scenes from camp.
