Monday, November 16: Dual Enrollment informational meeting will be at 7 p.m. in room 195.
Tuesday, November 17: Assembly for the blood drive will be in the auditorium at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, November 19: Dual Enrollment registration will be at 7 p.m. in room 133. SADD members attending SOBER kick off campaign at Pizza Hut in Wilkes-Barre.
Friday, November 20: Allied Medical Tech. Institute graduation is being held in auditorium at 5 p.m.
Saturday, November 21: Dodge ball tournament will be sponsored by the members of the SADD Club. The tournament will be held at 12p.m. in the Gym.
The 2010 WA yearbooks are on sale now. Order forms are available outside room 132 and will also be available at parent conferences. Yearbooks also can be purchased online at jostensyearbooks.com. Order yours today.
Students planning to play a winter sport are reminded that they can not practice or play until they have a medical physical or recertification form completed and handed into the nurse.
Wyoming Area Marching Band will be performing in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, FL over Christmas Break. They are currently selling myparentsrewards cards for $20. See band members or myparentsrewards.com for more info.

Wyoming Area Marching Band will be selling Pee Jay’s Fresh Fruit from Florida, the "Healthy Choice" for fundraising. Orders will be taken now through November 26th. The fruit will be delivered on December 14th. You can contact any band member or band sponsor to order.
The deadline for the Senior Pictures to be in for Yearbook is past due. Please get your picture to Mrs. Lynch ASAP!
Julia Skesavage lives in Exeter. She is the daughter of Denise and Timothy Barrett. Julia is a part of SADD/TATU and Student Council. She has played track, cross country, and basketball. Julia works at Ben and Jerry’s at the Mohegan Sun. Her interests include wakeboarding, painting, tubing, jet skiing, and drawing. She plans to attend Florida Atlantic University and major in business management. Julia’s role model is her mother because she is a strong woman and John Vishnesky, her boss, because he is a smart man.
Christopher Tirva lives in West Wyoming. He is the son of Christine Smith and John Tirva. Chris is a part of Student Council and is in the Future Business Leaders of America. Chris enjoys reading and playing the guitar. His favorite subjects are English, Psychology, and Sociology. A teacher that Chris looks up to is Mrs. Menta because she had the biggest influence on him and got him interested in reading and writing. He plans to attend Penn State after graduating and hopes to be a writer. Chris’s role model is his father because he is a hard worker and he taught him to be a good person and to be helpful to others.
Meghan Shinert lives in Wyoming and is the daughter of Charles and Robin Shinert. Meghan is on the Varsity Cheerleading team, Student Council, and Chorus. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, participating in competitive dance, and singing. Her favorite subject is math. A teacher that had an influence on Meghan was Miss Chikowski because she really pushed her to succeed and she taught her methods of learning that she still uses today. Meghan’s role model is her mother because she has always believed in her and taught her that anything is possible if she believes in herself.
Dan Valenti lives in West Pittston. He is the son of Joe and Donna Valenti. Dan has been a part of the golf team for four years. He works at Sabatelle’s in Pittston. Dan plays paintball on a team called “first blood” and he also snowboards. His favorite subject is math. His favorite teacher is Mr. Hyzinski because he was like a friend to him and he could talk to him and get help from him whenever he needed to. Dan plans on attending Penn State and is majoring in civil engineering.
