PD Anniversaries

Phil and Mary Ann Dunn will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on September 22, 2009. They were married by the late Rev. Anthony Suchocki in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea on September 22, 1979.

Mrs. Dunn is the former Mary Ann Szewczyk daughter of Louise Szewczyk, Duryea and the late Magistrate Walter J. Szewczyk, Duryea. Mr. Dunn is the son of Janet Tomchak, Pittston and the late Alex Dunn.

The couple has two children, Philip 23, a recent graduate of Keystone University, LaPlume and Mariah, 16, a junior at Scranton Preparatory School, Scranton, Pa.

Mrs. Dunn is employed as a psychiatric nurse for 28 years in the Behavioral Health Unit at Community Medical Center, Scranton, and employed at Nurstat in Edwardsville. Mr. Dunn is the owner of Phil Dunn Concrete and In ground Pools, Duryea.

A Mass and dinner party will be held on September 19 at Holy Rosary Church and Arcaro and Genell’s, Old Forge. The couple plan to vacation at the beach.
