40th Anniversary

Judge Joseph Musto and Attorney Fortunata (Nata) Musto celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 5, 2009 by renewing their vows during the 11:15 Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Pittston. Father Gregory Finn presided.

Their daughter, Laura Cowher and her husband, Mike and their son, Rob Musto, and his wife Caitlin, gave a garden party in their honor following the service. The luncheon was prepared by Rob who is the owner and executive chef of Cafe Olivia in Pittston. Members of the original wedding party in attendance were the groom’s brother and sister, Biagio Musto and Netta Musto Deeb, Judge Howard Speizer and the bride’s sister Dr. Gina Giudice Karess who also hosted the party.

The couple was married on July 5, 1969 at the Villanova University chapel, where Mrs. Musto attended law school. In addition to their children, their family is blessed with two grandchildren, Olivia and Joey Musto.
