40th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Rick Jones Sr. of Dupont are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, September 27, 2009. They were married by the late Rev. Valentine Plevyak in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Mayfield on September 27, 1969.

Mrs. Jones is the former Alice Koza, daughter of the late Catherine and Larry Koza, Mayfield. Mr. Jones is the son of the late Nell Jones, Dupont. Alice, a retired beautician, is employed by Penguin Group U.S.A. Rick is employed by Trion Industries.

The couple has been blessed with two children: Amy Lynn Petty and her husband Duane, Clarks Summit and Ricky Jr and his wife Liz, Hughestown. They also have three grandsons, Jacob, Tyler and Mitchell Petty, Clarks Summit.

A family dinner was held to mark the occasion.
