PD Anniversaries

Joseph Thompson and Amelia A. Alpaugh, were married on September 19, 1959 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, Pa. Amelia is the former Amelia A. Ninassi daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Ninassi of Exeter, Pa. Thompson is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Alpaugh of Pittston. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner with their children, grandchildren and friends.

The late Jack Alpaugh brother of the groom was best man, James Tschopp and William Heston friends of the groom were ushers. Patricia Zurla, friend of the bride was maid of honor, Anna Marie Mattoli and the late Regina Smith, friends of the bride were bridesmaids.

Thompson and Amelia now reside in Hughestown, PA and have three children, David, Bahama, NC; Ann Marie and her husband Mike Burke, Durham, NC and Mary Louise and her partner Maria Theodoraki, Teaneck, NJ. Grandchildren are Christopher and his wife Jessica Alpaugh, Jessica and her husband Wessley Klunk, Caitlin Naugle and Michael Burke. Great grandchildren are Jonathon, Summer and Audrey Alpaugh
