Golden Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wasta of Duryea celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on May 9. Don is the son of the late Andrew and Anna Mae Wasta. Judy is the daughter of the late James and Mary Hadley.

They were married in the Sacred Heart Church by the late Father Sikorski. Their attendants were Roselyn Wroblewski and Paul Wasta, Nancy Lane and Bernard Lazevnick, Carol Hadley and Stephen Gorman and Karen Sobeski.

Their marriage has been blessed with daughter Sharri and grandson Bill Dructor. A Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated on May 9 in the Sacred Heart Church. At the invitation of his Excellency the Most Reverend Joseph F. Martino, Bishop of Scranton. They will participate in the Wedding Anniversary celebration at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Scranton this afternoon.

A dinner was given in their honor by their daughter and grandson, Sharri and Billy Dructor.
