PD Anniversaries

Mr. and Mrs. George Kosik of Laflin celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on August 25, 2009.

They were united in marriage by Rev. Louis Kaminski in 1984 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. Their attendants were Mary Catherine Gilmartin Dabbieri, matron of honor; Richard Kosik, best man; Robert Kosik and Mary Ann Kosik; James Kosik and Charlene Corcoran; Patrick Feeney and Jackie Luce Feeney and Wayne Thorpe and Sheila McGarry. Vocalists were Joe Suchocki and Don Doyle.

Mrs. Kosik is the former Janice Gilmartin, daughter of the late William and Naomi Gilmartin, Sebastopol. Mr. Kosik is the son of Marcella Kosik and the late George Kosik, Dupont. They are the proud parents of two sons, Kevin who is a senior at Holy Redeemer High School and Michael who is a freshman at Holy Redeemer High School.

The couple celebrated with a cruise to the Western Caribbean earlier this year.
