PD Engagements

Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Amy L. Shafer, Scranton, to Dr. Robert J. Notari, Old Forge.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Deborah and James G. Tuffy, Scranton. She is a graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from King’s College. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in special education at Wilkes University and is a teacher at St. Mary of Mount Carmel School.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Diane and Richard P. Notari Sr., Old Forge. He is a graduate of Old Forge High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Wilkes University. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh and owns a private practice in Old Forge.

A July wedding is planned.
