The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Betty Belles of Pittston Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Kasa and Helen Belles and the late Paul Belles. Elizabeth is a 1999 graduate of Pittston Area Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Marywood University. She is employed with Deluxe Digital Studios in Moosic.

The prospective groom is the son of Joseph and Patricia Dodgson of Dickson City. He is the grandson of the late William and Bernice Kreseski and the late Harry and Jessie Dodgson. Scott is a 1999 graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School and attended Delaware Valley College. He is employed with Verizon Communications in Scranton.

The couple will be united in marriage on October 17, 2009 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Dupont.
