Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Biago of Exeter, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Carissa Lynn to James Lee Armbruster, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Armbruster of Clarks Summit.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Gloria Pelliccia, Wyoming and the late Orlando Pelliccia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Biago, Exeter. The prospective groom is the grandson of Susan Armbruster, Scranton and the late James Armbruster, and the late Virginia Lee, Clarks Summit.

Carissa is a graduate of Wyoming Area High School. She received a B.S. degree in Medical Imaging from Bloomsburg University. She completed an MRI internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore and currently works as an MRI Technologist for Washington Open MRI in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

James is a graduate of Abington Heights High School. He served on active duty with the United States Air Force and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently serving as a Staff Sergeant in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard" href=http://www.timesleader.com/search?searchterm=%22Air+National+Guard%22>Air National Guard. He earned a B.S. degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University and is employed as a Senior Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C.

The couple will be united in marriage on September 5 at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church in Exeter.
