Engaged to Wed

John Wilk and Patricia Wilk of Avoca are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Tammy Wilk to Christopher Silinskie, Inkerman. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marie Wilk and the late Henry (Tony) Wilk, Avoca and Mr. Charles Olisewski and the late Mary Claire Olisewski, Avoca.

Christopher is the son of Joseph and Ann Marie Silinskie, Inkerman. He is the grandson of the late Joseph and Helen Silinskie, Inkerman and the late Andrew and Mary Vitek, Port Griffith.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Seton Catholic High School. She graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She also graduated from Misericordia University with a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. She is currently employed as a Speech Language Pathologist for Genesis Health Care, Allentown.

The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Seton Catholic High School. He graduated from Penn State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is currently employed as an electrical engineer for American Electrical Testing Company, Boonton, New Jersey.

Tammy and Christopher will exchange vows on October 3, 2009.
