Mr. and Mrs. Robert Connors of West Wyoming announce the engagement of their daughter Katie to Will Beekman, son of William and Joy Beekman of Tobyhanna.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Francis and Alice Connors and the late Harold and Pauline Salmon. She is a 1996 graduate of Seton Catholic High School in Pittston and King’s College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is employed as the assistant general manager of Marketing and Business Development for State College Spikes, University Park.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Ralph Sole Sr.; Mary Patricia Sole of Cresco and the late William and Florence Beekman. He is a 1996 graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He is employed as a marketing manager with the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State University.

The couple will marry August 8 and honeymoon in Hawaii.
