Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Erin Elizabeth Fernandes to Roger J. Rugletic Jr., both of Duryea.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bernadette Fernandes, Duryea and Mendel Fernandes of West Pittston. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mae Noss and the late William Noss, Wilkes-Barre and Mrs. Catherine Prednis, Wilkes-Barre and Mr. Dennis Fernandes, Boston, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Pittston Area High School and is employed by The Town Tavern.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jeanne and John Zinkavich, Pittston and Mr. Roger Rugletic, St Pete Beach, Florida. He is the grandson of the late Vincent Wachs, and the late Joseph and Ada Rugletic. He is a graduate of Pittston Area High School and is the managing partner of The Town Tavern.

A destination wedding is set for October 9 at the Grand Paladium Resort in Montego Bay Jamaica where the couple will exchange vows at2 p.m.
