Stacey Veronica Rutt and Gene Matthew Molino, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Natalie Rutt, Swoyersville and Charles Rutt, Hanover Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Veronica Gabrysh and the late Dr. Charles and Margaret Rutt. The groom is the son of Rose Molino, Hughestown and C. Gene Molino, Jr., Larksville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Colangelo, Exeter and Flavia Molino, Scranton and the late C. Gene Molino, Sr.
Stacey is a 1999 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and a 2003 graduate of Wilkes University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a certification in elementary education. She also earned her Master of Science degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University in 2006. She is employed by the Wyoming Area School District as a third grade teacher.
Gene is a 1997 graduate and co-valedictorian of Pittston Area Senior High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and business. He also earned a Juris Doctorate from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2004. Gene is a former Assistant District Attorney of Luzerne County. He is currently associated with the Law Offices of Vough and Associates in Pittston and serves as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David W. Lupas, Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas.
The couple will exchange vows on October 17, 2009 at the Second Presbyterian Church, Pittston.
