Carl and Liz Zimmerman of Chili, New York, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Beth Zimmerman, to Jon Jacob Waxmonsky, son of Donald and Sylvia Waxmonsky of Pittston, PA.

The future bride, a 2003 graduate of Gates Chili High School, New York, earned a Bachelor’s degree in graphic media marketing at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), New York, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in packaging science. Kristin is currently employed by Harris Corporation, Rochester, New York.

Jon, a 2003 graduate of Pittston Area High School, earned a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Jon is currently employed by Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, New York.

The couple plan to marry on October 24, 2009 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Rochester, New York.
