PD Matters of Faith

The Feast Day for Our Lady of Sorrows is Sunday, September 20. The feast will begin with a High Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Rocco’s Church. The procession will commence at 3 p.m. when the statue will be venerated through the streets of Pittston.

Traditionally this event was sponsored by the Serradifalco Society and dependant on generous contributions of members and friends for its success.

Since the society no longer exists, it is dependant on friends who wish to see this fine tradition continued.

All monies collected will be put towards the cost of the procession. Residual funds will be pinned on Our Lady of Sorrow and given to St. Rocco’s Church.
