Weekly Novenas

At St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, weekly novenas are held every Monday and Tuesday after the 7:00 p.m. Mass.

Community Auction

The Wyoming Methodist Church, 376 Wyoming Avenue, will hold a community auction on February 20 at 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti as well as the church. Something for everyone will be available and all are welcome. Admission is free. The church kitchen will be offering light refreshments for a nominal fee. Parents Alliance Open House

The Greater Pittston Parents Alliance, a local parental support group, will hold an open house on Saturday, February 20 from 1 – 3 p.m. at The Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 317 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston.

Joe Holden, director of music at St. John’s is in the process of forming a multi-parish choir to provide music leadership for the liturgical celebration. Rehearsals for the liturgy will be held on Sunday evenings at 6:15 p.m. in the choir loft at St. John’s. The rehearsals began on Sunday, January 31 and run through Sunday, February 21.
