The 52nd Annual Novena in honor of Saint Jude will be held at St. Mary, Help of Christians Church, 535 North Main Street , Pittston, from Monday, October 19 through Wednesday, October 28. There will be two services daily.
Mass, followed by novena prayers and veneration of the relic of St. Jude, Patron Saint of Hopeless Cases and Things Despaired Of, will be celebrated Mondays through Fridays at noon and at 7:00 p.m., Saturdays at noon and at 5:30 p.m., and Sundays at 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited before all services and Confessions will be heard prior to all services.

Christopher Washington; Wednesday, October 21 at noon and 7:00 p.m., Rev. Vincent Dang; Thursday, October 22 at noon and 7:00 p.m., Rev. Robert Simon; Friday, October 23 at noon and 7:00 p.m., Rev. Anthony Generose; Saturday, October 24 at noon and 5:30 p.m., Rev. Msgr. Philip Gray; Sunday, October 25 at 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Very Rev. Paul McDonnell, OSJ; Monday, October 26 at noon and 5:30 p.m., Rev. Paul Mullen; Tuesday, October 27 at noon and 7:00 p.m., Rev. Philip Altavilla; and Wednesday, October 28 at noon, Rev. Thomas J. Maloney.
Rev. John Polednak, V.E., Episcopal Vicar of Southern Luzerne will celebrate the Solemn Closing Liturgy on Wednesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m.
There is a handicap lift available at the north side entrance to the church.
