Dana M. Ziobro and Christopher J. Ungureit, Jr were united in marriage on July 26, 2008 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. The Rev. Joseph Verespy performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Sharon Ziobro, Dupont. She is the granddaughter of Irene Eustice, Dupont; the late John T. Eustice, Sr., Dupont; and the late Henry and Amelia Ziobro, Dupont.
The groom is the son of Christopher and Brenda Ungureit, Sr., Pittston. He is the grandson of Beverly and Lawrence Clews, Plymouth; Delores Ungureit, Wilkes-Barre; the late Richard Gliddon, Sr., Wilkes-Barre and George and Elizabeth Ungureit, Wilkes-Barre.
The bride escorted by her father, chose her sister, Mary Beth Ziobro, Bristow, Virginia as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katlyn and Marissa Arena, cousins of the bride. Alyson Wruble, Jill Kody and Marcy Dweck, all friends of the bride. The flower girl was Heather Ungureit, sister of the groom and godchild of the couple.
The groom chose his best friend, Robert Walsh, Jr., as best man. Groomsmen were Eric Ungureit and Charles Norris, brothers of the groom, Ronald Ziobro II, brother of the bride, David Ziobro, and John Blakiewicz, cousins of the bride. The ring bearers were Anthony Arena, Godchild of the bride and Ethan Ungureit, brother of the groom.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 2005 graduate of King’s College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She received her permanent certification and is currently the third grade teacher at Wyoming Area Catholic, Exeter.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Scranton, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Business. He is currently employed by Geisinger Health Systems.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and Disney World. They currently reside in Avoca.
