United in Marriage

Tyra M. Dellacroce and Jeffrey E. Rabel were united in marriage on September 6, 2008 at St. Aedan’s Church, New Haven, CT by Father Joseph Koterski.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Kelly Dellacroce of Woodbridge, CT. She is the granddaughter of Josephine M. Stradley and the late James Stradley of West Palm Beach and Woodbridge, CT and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dellacroce of Woodbridge, CT.

The groom is the son of Theodora Rabel, Wyoming, PA and the late Edward Rabel of Westminster. He is the grandson of Ina Savelli and the late Ted Savelli of Wyoming, PA and Mary Rabel and the late Andrew Rabel of Wyoming, PA.

The bride, escorted by her father chose Gabrielle Dellacroce, Sophie Pfannenbecker, junior flower girls and Ryan Bonin as ring bearer. Scriptural readings were given by Tara Bonin, cousin of the groom, Lance Dellacroce, brother of the bride, Kenny McCormick, friend of the groom and Diana Camella friend of the bride.

The parents of the bride and groom hosted a casual, all-inclusive rehearsal party. The party was at the summer home of the bride’s parents in Westbrook, CT and included pizza by the "Big Green Pizza Truck", cannoli, gelato and plenty of fun. The reception was held at the bride’s parent’s estate in Connecticut. It was set to the background of an Italian market with plenty of food, drink, live music, dancing and other entertainment.

The bride is a 1995 honors graduate of Boston College, Carroll School of Management with a degree in Marketing and Business Management and a 2005 honors graduate of New York University, Stern School of Business with a degree in Leadership and Change Management. Mrs. Rabel is employed as the Vice President of National Interior Projects at Connecticut Stone Supplies, Inc.

The groom is a 1993 honors graduate of Wyoming Area High School, Exeter, Pa and a 1997 honors graduate of Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa. where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics. He is also a 2002 honors graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, where he earned an MBA Finance and Strategy. Mr. Rabel is employed as an Investment Bank for Barclay’s Capital.

Following the wedding the couple did an 18-day honeymoon to South Africa and Mozambique. Currently the couple resides in both New York City and Woodbridge, Connecticut.
