Lauren Barge and Michael Przybyla were united in marriage on August 9, 2009 by District Judge Joseph Carmody at the Stroudsmoor Inn, Stroudsburg. The outdoor ceremony took place under a canopy of fifty-foot oak and maple trees in the Woodland Chapel, followed by a reception at Woodsgate.

The bride is the daughter of Garrick and Charlene Barge, Pittston. She is the granddaughter of Nora Barge and the late Rocco Barge of Pittston Township and Charles and Mary Volpe of Pittston. The groom is the son of Barry and Deborah Przybyla, West Wyoming. He is the grandson of Dolores Sandroski and the late Henry Sandroski of Exeter and Laura Przybyla and the late Henry Przybyla of Wilkes-Barre Township.
The bride, escorted by her father, chose her sister Michele Tilyou as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Przybyla, sister of the groom, Kimberly Buckley and Christine Buckley, cousins of the bride. Brooke Costanzo, also cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. The groom chose
Marine Sgt. Robert Hines as his best man. Marine Cpl.Joziph Soliman and Sgt. James Brower served as groomsmen and LCpl. Joseph Dugan, LCpl. Anthony Dugan and Sgt Luis Alfaro, served as ushers. Readings were given by the father of the groom and Marissa Costanzo, godmother of the bride. The groom’s fellow Marines honored the couple in a sword ceremony during the recessional. A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents was held at Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Pittston Area High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Penn State University, University Park. She is a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Eli Lilly and Company.
The groom, a 2002 graduate of Wyoming Area School, honorably separated from the Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant after eight years of service. He served two tours of duty in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as a tour in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a full time student at Penn State University.
Following a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple resides in Philadelphia.
