Jennifer Carey and Joseph Dominick together with their family and friends were united in marriage October 4, 2008 at Saint John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. The ceremony was performed by Father Paul McDonnell.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dominick
The bride is the daughter of Frances Connors, Yatesville and Frank Carey, Jenkins Township. She is the granddaughter of Anthony and Marie Guiliano of Pittston and Dolores Carey and the late Francis Carey Sr. of Hughestown. The groom is the son of Connie and Gilbert Dominick, Wyoming. He is the grandson of Gina Dominick of Wyoming and the late Gilberto Dominick and the late Joseph and Doris Zanta.
The bride, given away by her father, chose her friends Maura Kivak as her matron of honor and Natalie Scarantino as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brenda DeRenzo, Jodi Stello, Connie Pascoe and Leslee O’Donnell, sisters of the groom; and Saliena Alaimo, Destyne Baum and Kelly Vincelli, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Carly Stello, Charleston O’Donnell and Miranda Dominick, nieces of the groom.
The groom chose his friend Santino Ferretti as his best man. Groomsmen were Gil Dominick, brother of the groom; Frank Carey and Michael Carey, brothers of the bride; Carmen Insalaco, cousin of the groom; Michael O’Donnell, brother-in-law of the groom; Patrick Kane, Sherman Mead and Adam Pendolphia, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Joseph DeRenzo, Carson Pascoe and Logan Dominick, nephews of the groom. The offertory gifts were given by Madison Stello and Alexandria DeRenzo, nieces of the groom. Readings were given by Charlie Sviatko and Josh Pendolphia, friends of the bride and groom and Marybeth Vassell, aunt of the bride.
A bridal shower was held in honor of the bride at Newberry Estates, Dallas and was given by the mothers of the bride and groom. A rehearsal party was hosted by parents of the groom at Bianco’s Restaurant, Wyoming. The wedding reception was held at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, Scranton, PA.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Pittston Area High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics in 2003 from Widener University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2008 from Marywood University. She is currently employed by Behavioral Health Services of Wyoming Valley as a Behavior Specialist Consultant.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wyoming Area High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2003 from Bloomsburg University. He is currently employed by his family’s business Gina’s Pizza.
The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
