First Anniversary

Cara Alyssa Kasa and Vincent Gregory O’Hop were united in marriage on July 28, 2008 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Dupont. Today they are celebrating their one year anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincent O’Hop

The bride is the daughter of Cary and Donna Kasa of Suscon. She is the granddaughter of Gloria Costello and the late Albert Costello and the late Nicholas and Mary Kasa of Dupont. The groom is the son of Vincent and Barbara O’Hop of Hughestown. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Helen Bonavitch of Greenwood and the late Vincent and Florence O’Hop of Avoca.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose her sister-in-law Jacki Kasa, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Laurie Ardoline, sister of the groom, Bethie Belles, cousin of the bride, Leslie Widdick, Lauren Flanagan, Jeanna Mihalka and Jaclyn Costantino, all friends of the bride. Lily Kasa, Maya Kasa and Callie Ardoline, nieces of the couple were flower girls.

The groom chose his friend Daniel Luvender, as his best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Kasa, brother of the bride, Robert Ardoline, brother-in-law of the groom, Nick Costantino, Mark Mihalka, Frank Serino, and Fausto Volpe, all friends of the groom. Alan Kiesinger and Jeffrey Doran, also friends of the groom, served as ushers.

An evening cocktail and dinner reception was held at the Woodlands Inn and Resort to celebrate this joyous occasion. The bride was honored with a bridal shower at the Woodlands and the couple, along with friends and family enjoyed a rehearsal dinner at Cafe Rinaldi.

The bride is employed by the Pittston Area School District as a 4th grade teacher, and the groom is also employed by Pittston Area as a health and physical education teacher.

Following a honeymoon to Sandals in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Pittston Township.
