PD Weddings

Kimberly A. Capitano and Michael A. Rebovich were united in marriage on Friday, June 12, 2009 at an intimate family ceremony at the Crestmont Inn, Eagles Mere, PA. The Most Rev. Joseph A. Grenier, PhD, Presiding Bishop of the Celtic Christian Church, Cresco, performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of William and Patricia Donnelly, Pittston and the granddaughter of the late Joseph and Stella Bonita, Pittston Township and the late Daniel and Florence Donnelly, Pittston Township. The groom is the son of Michael and Beverly Rebovich, Suscon and the grandson of the late Michael and Caroline Rebovich, Dupont and the late Joseph and Norma Chmiel, Suscon.

The bride was escorted to the garden wedding by her father and chose Jennifer Rebovich, sister of the groom, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leah Popple, sister of the groom and Christine Donnelly, sister-in-law of the bride. Erin Lynn Donnelly, niece and godchild of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Peyton and Sienna Popple, nieces of the groom.

The groom chose his brother, Christopher Rebovich, as his best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Popple, brother-in-law of the groom and Mark Donnelly, brother of the bride. Musical selections were performed by Mike Silvetti Sr.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower given by Mrs. Leah Popple, at Cosenza’s Restaurant, Bear Creek Twp., PA. A rehearsal party was hosted by the parents of the groom and bride at the VFW, Dupont. A formal cocktail hour and dinner reception followed the ceremony at the Crestmont Inn. A second evening reception with extended family and friends was held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Meadow Run Mountain Lake, Bear Creek Twp., PA.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 1993 summa cum laude graduate of King’s College with a degree in Mass Communications. She operates Global Auto Mart, Plains, PA. The groom is a 1994 graduate of Seton Catholic High School and is employed by FedEx Express.

Following a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides at Mountain Lake, Bear Creek Township, Pa.
