United in Marriage

Arienne Elizabeth Pazzaglini and Michael James Blandina, were united in the sacrament of marriage Saturday, August 30, 2008, at the Church of Saint Peter, Saratoga Springs, New York, Rev. Dominic Ingemie performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah and Gino Pazzaglini of Saratoga Springs, New York. She is the granddaughter of Esther Pazzaglini, Endwell, New York and the late Gasper Pazzaglini and the late Norma and John Sedor, Potomac, Maryland. The groom is the son of Gloria and James Blandina of Wyoming. He is the grandson of Helen Adonizio and the late Charles (Cugsy) Adonizio of Pittston and Michael and Claire Blandina of Wyoming.

The bride, escorted by her father, chose her sister Dr. Nicole Kerner as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marisa Narog, sister of the bride; Emily Pazzaglini, sister-in-law of the bride; Jaime Blandina, sister of the groom; Julianne Pazzaglini, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Kane and Laura Weisser, friends of the bride. Adrianna Kerner, niece of the bride was flower girl. The groom chose Dr. Paul Kerner, brother-in-law of the bride as his best man.

Groomsmen were Damon Pazzaglini, brother of the bride, Peter Narog, brother-in-law of the bride; Mark Yanchek, Patrick Forlenza, cousins of the groom, Charles Dotter, Patrick Kelly, Anthony Naughton friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Jake Adonizio, cousin and godchild of the groom. Matthew Pazzaglini and Maxwell Pazzaglini, nephews of the bride, Benjamin Kerner, nephew and godchild of the bride was the ring bearer. Offertory gifts were presented by Alexander Pazzaglini, Amalia Pazzaglini, cousins of the bride and Luke Lucas and Chad Adonizio, cousins of the groom. Scriptural readings were given by Kathleen Decker and Andrea Morelli, cousins of the bride and Dr. Patrick Adonizio, uncle and godfather of the groom.

The Hall of Springs in Congress Park, Saratoga Springs was the setting for the evening reception. A bridal shower was hosted by the bridesmaids at the Garden Room at the Gideon Putman in Sartoga Springs, New York. The couple was also honored at an engagement party given by the groom’s parents in the garden of their home.

Arienne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh in2006. She received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in May 2009. She has accepted a position with Crawford and Crawford Law Firm in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Michael is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004. He is employed with Zimmer of New England as a Trauma Specialist.

The couple honeymooned in Antigua and for the past year resided in Delmar, New York. This fall, they will make their home in North Carolina.
