Fine season for Pittston Area junior high soccer

The Pittston Area junior high soccer team finished the season with a winning mark at 9-6-1. Jim Norris is the head coach. Tony Filipski is the assistant. Junior High soccer teams are co-ed.

Coach Norris said he doesn’t know how moving girls varsity soccer to the fall will impact the junior high program. The PIAA mandated moving girls soccer to the fall for the 2012-13 season. Currently girls soccer is a spring sport in the WVC.
