Granddaughter of local couple excels in Texas gymnastics

Caroline Mikita won the Level 5 Texas North State Gymnastic Championship. Caroline is a Level 5 gymnast for Canyon Creek Gymnastics in Richardson, Texas. She won the event with an all around score of 38.15. She also finished first on the vault and the bars and third on the floor and beam.

She will be competing for the Texas State Championship on December 12 in Houston Texas.

Caroline Mikita is the daughter of Joe and Audrey Mikita, Plano, Texas and the granddaughter of Jasmine and Joe Mikita of West Pittston. She has a younger sister Allison.
