District 16/31 LL presidents meet with Luzerne DA

At the Pennsylvania District 16/31 Little League Presidents’ meeting, Luzerne County First District Attorney Jeff Tokach addressed the meeting regarding volunteer background checks and management of league treasuries.

Tokach spoke to the group, commending the district for its mandatory background check program. He also stated that the DA’s office is available to advise the leagues on handling situations where background checks reveal incidents that could put children at risk.
