LITTLE LEAGUE BRIEFS

The Wyoming/ West Wyoming Little League will hold registration on Jan. 28 and Feb. 6 at West Wyoming Hose Company #2. All registrations begin at 6:30 p.m. A Board meeting will be held on Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the West Wyoming Town Hall. All coaches and managers letters of intent must be delivered to Lisa Minnelli or any board member at this time.

Pittston Twp LL meeting

The Pittston Twp. Little League Board of Directors will hold its monthly meeting Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. at the Little League Fieldhouse on Bryden Street. Topics to be addressed will be election of 2010 officers and board members, 2010 registration, field projects and league finances. All board members are urged to attend.

WPLL sets signups

West Pittston Little League will reguster Jan. 28, 6-9 p.m. and Jan. 30, 9 a.m.-noon at the Clubhouse. Bring a birth certificate and three proofs of residency which includes driver’s license, insurance ID cards and utility bills.

Cost for T-Ball thru Major League for boys and girls will be $45. Boys from coach pitch thru majors will have an additional charge of $5. The Family fee will be $65. Junior and Senior league cost will be $85. The Family fee for Junior and Senior League will be $105. Big League registration will be held at a later date.

Dupont Softball/T-ball sign ups listed

Dupont Softball/T-ball will conduct signups on Mondays and Wednesdays starting January 25 thru March 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dupont Polish Club. Cost is $15 for T-ball for girls and boys ages 3-7, $35 for girls softball ages 8-18, plus fundraiser per player. Info call Bruce 299-9239, Bob C. 881-8744 or Bob G 762-5762.

Duryea LL lists signups

The Duryea Little League will hold registrations for for T-ball, Coach/Pitch, Minor, Major, Girls’ Softball and Teeners from Monday, Jan. 25 through Thursday, Jan. 28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Duryea Borough Building.

Bring a copy of parent/guardian driver’s license and two proofs of residency, child’s medical information and shirt size. Registration fees are $50 per child, $60 per family, and $60 for Teeners. Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April, 17. Any questions, please call Ron at 655-0203.

Pittston Twp LL lists signups

The Pittston Township Little League will hold registrations for t-ball, coach pitch, minor, major and girls softball on Tuesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pittston Twp. Municipal Building. New players are asked to bring a birth certificate (copy) and three proofs of residence (drivers license, utility bills, insurance cards.) Jenkins Twp LL sign ups listed

The Jenkins Twp Little League will hold registrations on Jan. 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Municipal Building in Inkerman. All boys and girls ages 5-16 from Jenkins and Yatesville are eligible. New members are asked to bring proof of residency and a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Levels of play are T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Minor League, Major League, Jr. League and Sr. League.

The Pittston Little League will hold registration on Jan. 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Feb. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. Registrations will be held at the clubhouse at the new little league field. Children ages 5-16 who live within the Pittston City boundaries are eligible. Registration fees for t-ball, coach pitch, minor, and little league are $40 per player, $60 per family. Junior and Senior league fees are $50 per player and $70 per family. Please bring three proofs of residence and your child’s birth certificate.
